Last bike out at 11:00am
Riders back by 3:30, Veteran’s Center 216 South Francis St. Port Angeles, Wa
Prizes given out at 4:00
$10 per poker hand all riders and passengers must have at least 1 hand
Riders and passengers may purchase as many cards as desired
130 mile ride with 3 card draw stops Approx. 25/30 winning hands
50/50 drawing, hot dogs, chili, sodas following

“Strike Out Sexual Assault Bowl-a-Thon” and 40th Anniversay Celebration!

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and 40th Anniversary Celebration!

There will be a “Strike Out Sexual Assault” Bowl-a-Thon and Hidden Auction fundraiser event on April 30th 2011 to raise financial support for our much needed sexual assault/abuse treatment program.

Date: April 30, 2011
Time: 2:00 – 6:00 pm
Place: Laurel Lanes, 108 W. 8th Street, Port Angeles
Teams: Up to 6 people per team
Fee: $100 per team, which includes free shoe rental, 3 games and 1 free drink ticket per team member.

Form your team now and register by calling Shauna at Healthy Families (360) 452-3811. We ask that you register your bowling team by April 20, 2011. The registration fee can be sent to:

After receiving your registration, your team will receive packets with pledge sheets for each team member to help raise awareness and funds to, “Strike Out Sexual Assault!” in our community.

Awards will be given for Best Team Name, Best Team Attire, Best Gutter Ball, Best Team Score, and Best “Worst” Team Score.

Raffles will be held during the event including a weekend stay in Victoria, B.C. Canada.

Healthy Families of Clallam County is celebrating our 40th Anniversay. We would like each team to bring a cake to help celebrate with us. A prize will be awarded for the Best Decorated Cake during the “Strike Out Sexual Assault Bowl-a-Thon”.

First Federal Support Healthy Families of Clallam County

Thank you to First Federal Bank for a grant of $1,500 to support unfunded or underfunded programs offered by Healthy Families of Clallam County, including emergency and transitional shelter, therapy, advocacy and operating expense providing services for both child and adult victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and/or sexual assault.

Who We Are

Healthy Families of Clallam County (HFCC) is a private non-profit agency providing services to victims of domestic violence (DV), sexual assault (SA) and child abuse. HFCC serves Eastern and Central Clallam County.
Each year HFCC provides crisis intervention services, shelter, transitional housing, therapy, counseling, legal advocacy, medical advocacy, system advocacy, information, speakers bureau to raise awareness, parenting classes, parent clinics, support services and referrals for child and adult victims/survivors of domestic, sexual violence and child abuse. The agency works tirelessly to end all forms of violence and encourage perpetrator accountability through advocacy, education, system coordination, and social change.

  • Legal-Assistance with protection orders; accompaniment to court proceedings; understanding the legal system; support during interviews

Healthy Families of Clallam County’s mission is to provide a wide range of services empowering children, youth, adults and families to achieve their full potential, improve their physical, mental and emotional health and live free of violence and abuse.

To accomplish this mission, Healthy Families of Clallam County provides child abuse prevention and treatment services including parenting classes, support groups, educational clinics for divorcing parents and in-home parent aides; domestic violence and sexual assault prevention, 24-hour crisis intervention, counseling, systems, medical and legal advocacy, emergency and transitional shelter.
